Why was it popular to have tombstones that looked like chairs/recliners? - tombstones for sale

If I am in Springfield, IL, this spring, I took a few tombstones in the cemetery and watched as it seemed, several chairs, chairs, all of whom were too old for this kind of waste that anybody there have any information? I have nothing on google, thanks.

One hundred years ago, people visit the graves more often. They tried to make the park with statues, fountains and stone benches to sit on. The stone benches are not really a stone, but is placed next to the King's grave, so that family members would be a place to sit and visit.
